All the information you need for the upcoming season!

Make sure to read through the article and the attached documents so you're ready for the upcoming season.

Most players have been moved to their new teams but if you've not been moved and think you should be in the next age group, please apply to join the team through Pitchero (app or Cheam Hockey website).

Age groups are set at 1st September each year. For example, if your child has turned 8 on or before 1st September 2023, they will move to the U10 age group.

Training Times
The Juniors season officially starts on Sunday 3rd September. Juniors have the option of attending just one session (either Sunday or Wednesday if over 10) or both sessions - the various price options can be found below.

Our Sunday training times are as follows:

10:00-11:00: U12
10:00-11:30: U14 & U16 Boys

On top of our Sunday sessions, we also offer a midweek training session on Wednesday evenings at Epsom College from 18:15-19:45. This session starts from Wednesday 20th September.

Policies
Our Cheam Hockey Club Code of Conduct Policy is attached to this article which should be read by all players or parents/guardians where applicable. You can also find the expectations for Junior training, our safeguarding policy, our photography policy and our facemask policy. Please do take the time to read these through - any questions please reach out to Kiera (Junior Membership and Development Officer) at JuniorCHC.1920@gmail.com.

As part of purchasing the membership, you are confirming that you agree to the Code of Conduct and the Junior Training Expectations.

You will also be asked to confirm whether or not you are happy for your child to be photographed - these photos may be placed on official Cheam Hockey Social Media and our website. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Victoria Power (Welfare Officer) or Holly Tresadern (Social Media and Website Officer)

Kit
Official Cheam Hockey kit can be bought from Cheam Sports Shop in Cheam Village (SM3 8BH).

We are also running a kit swap on Sunday 10th September. You are able to donate kit on Sunday 3rd or Sunday 10th, then you can pick up something you need from the swap. All donations of astros, shin pads, sticks and CHC kit are welcome!

Any further questions please contact one of our Junior Coordinators via the 'Contact' page of the website.

Here's to another fantastic season at Cheam Hockey Club!
