As the new season starts and our juniors keep growing (literally), Cheam HC has decided (after the recommendation from some of our parents!) to introduce a way for parents to buy and sell too-small items - Kit Swap!
The idea is simple - we’re going to run the kit swap from a table pitchside during Sunday training, so that parents can make purchases while the kids are playing. Just bring along any kit* that is still in good, wearable/usable condition, drop it off with us and let us know how much you would like to sell it for. The kit swap will run for three weeks, and at the end of the third week you can collect any unsold kit and earnings.
The club is fundraising for new goalie kits for the junior teams, so will take a small donation from each sale towards this goal. If you would like to donate more please let us know when you bring your kit to the sale.
By running the kit swap over three weeks we’re hoping that this will give everyone the chance to drop things off to sell and pick up anything they like. The dates for dropping off/buying items will be:
23rd September
30th September
7th October
*Team clothes, sticks, bags, shoes etc.
We are also looking for volunteers to help at the sale. Please get in touch with u10 Girls coach Joy Elliott-Bowman if you can help.
See you Sunday,
Cheam HC Junior Committee
